Decorex International 2019 – Colour and Light

Decorex 2019 as wonderful as ever

I try to go to Decorex ever year to keep up with the latest products and see which way styles are heading. I’ve added some lovely new lighting to my blog on www.luxplan.co.uk but here are some more examples of lights that can be produced in a wide range of colours and finishes to order.

Sylvie Lighting

Beautiful lights combining the simplicity of ash and all the textures and tones that this translucent veneer produces. Sylvie are doing some lovely colourful pieces although this picture certainly doesn’t do them justice.

Curiousa and Curiousa

I love the quirkiness of Curiousa and Curiousa – it would have to be a rather individual company with such an unusual name! This year they launched a new range of sculptural stacked lights as well as their silk Ume lanterns.  Also a new range of glass Siren wall lights and a hand-made brass and walnut floor light.

All in a wide range of finishes so each piece is virtually unique.

Villaverde

Villaverde exhibited their range of Jewel wall lights and lamps which are made to order in twenty four finishes and twenty four colours of glass.  Also their Kono Wall Light and floor lamp which comes in a vast range of metal finishes and fabrics as well as the option to use the customer’s own fabrics.

Everything seems to be geared towards more custom made and bespoke – but at a price.  Still lovely though!
